We Pick Blueberries Blackberries!

Recent advancements in imitation learning now enable robots to pick blackberries with high precision in a cost-effective manner. At BluPe, we are committed to bringing these advancements to farmers, enhancing efficiency while maintaining crop quality.

Each arm has five cameras which detect ripe fruit and guide the arm, and a soft gripper that prevents dammage to the fruit. We use immitation learning, meaning we use demonstrations to teach the arms how to harvest. After 1000 examples, the arms are able to replicate the montions on their own, eventually havesting the crop at a speed of 10s/berry.
